Implémentation sur DSP d'une technique de modulation vectorielle
L'utilisation des onduleurs multi niveaux contrôlés par des systèmes de commande embarqués permet de réaliser des plateformes de commande robustes, moins encombrées tout en garantissant une meilleure qualité des grandeurs électriques (courant, tension, etc). L'intégration de cette plateforme avec un système photovoltaïque permet d'adapter la forme de l'énergie généré par la source (DC) à celle demandée par une charge alternative (machine, réseau électrique,...)Partant de cet objectif, on se propose dans ce livre de commander un onduleur triphasé à trois niveaux du type NPC par une technique de modulation MLI vectorielle. La commande est implémentée sur une carte DSP TMS320F28335 du Texas instruments, permettant de contrôler en temps réel les amplitudes et les fréquences des tensions produites par cet onduleur, afin d'alimenter un récepteur triphasé. Quelques résultats expérimentaux relevés sur un prototype du convertisseur seront aussi donnés pour valider l'étude théorique présentée dans ce livre ainsi que la méthode d'implémentation de l'algorithme en temps réel.

L'expression au public en ligne connaît un état de crise auquel le droit se doit aujourd'hui de réagir. Globalement, le constat est celui d'une déresponsabilisation des utilisateurs lorsque ceux-ci s'expriment publiquement sur les réseaux sociaux. Cette tendance à la déresponsabilisation trouve l'une de ses causes principales dans la manière dont les gestionnaires des réseaux sociaux les plus populaires, à savoir ceux que l'on nomme les opérateurs de plateformes, formate les contenus de l'expression et en organise la diffusion sur et en dehors des espaces qu'ils exploitent en ligne. Cet ouvrage contient plusieurs propositions pour une réforme du droit applicable à l'activité de plateforme, réforme à partir de laquelle la responsabilité du fait de l'expression au public via Internet pourra être repensée dans la perspective, d'une part, de sauvegarder la liberté d'expression et, d'autre part, d'en réprimer raisonnablement et efficacement les abus.

Mais dans le coeur des frondaisons se cache une obscurité dont personne ne veut parler, d'où s'échappent les cris des victimes de l'Ogre. Aux adultes, le jour, de le rejoindre et de veiller chaque soir à ce que le monstre ne puisse atteindre les enfants. Jusqu'à ce que certains ouvrent les yeux sur l'obscurité et fassent naître l'espoir de ne plus nourrir l'Ogre. L'en-Haut est un monde où les adultes marchent au-dessus de tout, traînant leurs échasses de plateforme en plateforme, tantôt cueilleurs d'eau ou pécheurs d'oiseaux. Ils survivent, tellement haut qu'ils ne savent plus vivre, que seuls les utiles ont droit de pitance et d'existence. Voutés à déformer leur corps, les marcheurs sont d'étranges oiseaux solitaires qui s'enivrent de vertiges, risquant leur vie au moindre déséquilibre, fermant les yeux sur ce que dissimulent les murs des plateformes, ce qui arrive à tous ceux incapables d'arpenter les nuages, enfants comme vieillards. Jusqu'à ce que certains arrêtent de fermer les yeux et fassent naître l'espoir d'une autre humanité. Avec ce troisième roman, Isabelle Aupy nous offre un jaillissement d'humanité.

Indigenization of Language in the African Francophone Novel
Indigenization of Language in the African Francophone Novel : A New Literary Canon discusses the question of indigenization in the African Francophone novel. Analyzing the prose narratives of Nazi Boni, Ahmadou Kourouma, and Patrice Nganang, this book contends that African literature written in European languages is primarily a creative translation process. Recourse to European languages as a medium of expressing African imagination, worldview, and cultures in fictional writing poses problems of intelligibility. Developed to express and reflect Western worldviews and sensibilities, European languages are employed by African writers to convey messages that seem to be at variance with European imagination. These writers find themselves writing in languages they wish to subvert through the technique of literary indigenization. The significance of this study resides in its raising awareness to the hurdles that literary creativity in a polyglossic context may present to readers and translators. This book provides answers to intriguing questions centering on the problematic of translation in contemporary African literature. It is a contribution to current research aimed at unraveling the conundrum surrounding the language question in African Europhone fiction, particularly the cultural functions of translation in literature. Potential translation problems have to be addressed in order to make African literature written in European languages intelligible to global readership. With the advent of globalization, transcultural communication has become an activity of enormous importance to the international community. It is a subject of great interest to translators, linguists, language instructors, and literary theorists.

The theory of enterprise unity is of particular importance to multinational enterprises with many affiliates. The law pertaining to the relationship of the various entities within such a group has to address itself to a whole array of problems. The comparison of the approaches taken by the legal systems surveyed is concerned with the antitrust perspective as discernible from the enforcement practice. The possible application of the Competition Rules to such intra-group arrangements involves an examination of conspiratorial situations in which corporate personnel, agents, unincorporated divisions and incorporated subsidiaries as well as corporations owned by the same person(s) take part.

Foreign Devils investigates representations of exile in Hollywood cinema from 1930 to 1956 through the films of Peter Lorre, Béla Lugosi, and Conrad Veidt. This book dispels the assumption that by virtue of its hegemonic, reactionary, and exclusionary modes of representation, otherness is excluded from or only obliquely alluded to in classical Hollywood cinema. This book contends that Hollywood uses European émigré actors to speak of the experience of exile and the often-futile exilic attempts at integration into the host nation. This original, cross-disciplinary study incorporates a number of research interests in film studies – specifically Hollywood cinema, exile and émigré filmmakers, the Golden Age of the studio system, the Universal Horror cycle, and Poverty Row filmmaking. Foreign Devils combines the close reading of key texts with a theoretical framework that encompasses body theory and theories of space and nation with historical accounts of immigration to the United States and American concepts of nationhood through the symbolism of blood and death studies. Du marché aux communs. Déploiement de l'économie collaborative
L'ouvrage poursuit un double objectif. D'abord il décrypte les fondements de notre vie numérique collaborative. Il explique le succès des plateformes marchandes (les GAFAM, Uber, AirBnB, BlaBlaCar. .), leurs recettes pour monter un modèle d'affaires réussi, fondé sur les contributions et le travail de la "multitude" . Il analyse également les raisons qui nous poussent à proposer nos services sur les plateformes, à contribuer et à déposer des contenus dans les réseaux sociaux ou alternativement à participer à la construction de biens communs numériques. Et il fait le bilan de ce qu'apporte cette "vie numérique : à la fois une capacité d'agir nouvelle pour les individus mais aussi un pouvoir exorbitant pour les plateformes, qui "traduisent nos comportements en données" en étendant en permanence "le domaine du marché" . C'est pourquoi une voie alternative à la toute-puissance des plateformes est possible, grâce aux biens communs et aux plateformes coopératives. Pour que ceux-ci réussissent il faut réunir certaines conditions que l'ouvrage décrit : un projet souvent imaginé par un individu mais porté par un collectif, capable de contrôler ses "passagers clandestins" , de passer à l'échelle, d'obtenir des soutiens institutionnels, et d'investir des champs encore inexplorés par les plateformes marchandes, l'éducation, la santé, l'action sociale par exemple.
